About the event
In this 3 day workshop you will spend two days in a classroom with Guido showing you some of his special techniques to:
- choose and capture a mood
- select a dynamic color scheme
- look past the clutter and block out a powerful subject
- add energy with controlled brushstrokes
On the last day you will have a chance to practice what you learned in plein air. Priced separately.
Guido says, “Learn how to put soul, power and emotion into your paintings to avoid ending up with just an ordinary copy of your subject.”

- Dates: April 2023: Wednesday the 19th, Thursday, the 20th and Friday the 21st
- Price:
Days 1 and 2 in the Confluence Studios classroom - April 19th and 20th - $400.

Day 3 only at a plein air location to be determined – April 21st $200.

- Class size: 8 to 12 students
- Painting Time: 6 hours per day with a break for lunch
