Join us in celebrating the official opening reception of our annual community exhibit, The Dark Show!
For First Friday, November 7th, Confluence Studios is hosting the opening exhibit of our annual community art exhibit, The Dark Show. The works celebrate the creative spirit of the community, with an emphasis on the waning light of autumn, the shadows, and the fallow, regenerative time of rest and inwardness, which is so vital to creative germination. The opening reception will be from 5:30 to 8:30 with a burning bowl ceremony* at 8:00 pm at Confluence Studios, 660 White Avenue, Grand Junction.
Refreshments will be served.
Free event open to the public!
*We will burn the contents of the bowl (wishes and remembrances of those who have passed and things one would like to get rid of in one's life).
